The intention was tongue in cheek, light hearted joke

Failed, never mind

I’m guessing it’s called humour. Seems a foreign concept on these forums, where bickering and misery are more the norm.

But will it run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 ?

I'm thinking of ordering one 🙂

Only ordering one? Looking at the pictures, looks like there are lots of parts and a lot of maintenance involved. Should order two, just in case one needs maintenance. I will let you take the plunge, in other words, take one for the team, and you can report back on how it works. 🙂

Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder.

Its quite the cantankerous bunch here Pete.

Sarcasm and joking around seems to be completely foreign to those with a dislike of the new flight simulator... and some actually take the time to post a rhetorical question in hopes of somehow belittling you into apologizing for attempting humor in these serious flight simulation forums.
Gotta' wonder if he's sitting at his keyboard....just waiting for you to post your public apology?  If not....like @yurei asks......

In the words of Lt. Caffee when describing Jo's interaction with Colonel Jessup....

Let's hope Mr. 1970's believes his interrogative was rhetorical, and he doesn't bother posting any more silly replies....as, like you yurei, I see no constructive point in his post other than the obvious.

I'm sure MSFS 2020  will be stutter free 🙂

Fugaku is running 158,976 individual CPUs, based on Fujitsu’s 48-core A64FX system-on-a-chip.

They must have run out of funding, otherwise why stop at only 158,976 CPUs?

I wonder why they didn't round it up to 159,000 CPUs, or even 160,000?

Oh, perhaps they didn't build a big enough room! 😎

I daresay someone from the hardware forum will be along shortly to point out that anyone considering buying one of these should hold off on doing so because there's something else coming out next week from AMD which will be better at running flight sims.
