September 29, 20205 yr Hi, believe this is a known issue on the release notes 👍 - Game may crash if the VFR Map is not opened right after starting the flight https://www.flightsimulator.com/world-update-i-japan-patch-version-1-9-3-is-now-available/
September 29, 20205 yr How can you release an update with such a bug? Unbelievable... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

September 29, 20205 yr I turned the VFR Map off almost straight away after release. Its pretty rubbish doesn't really tell you anything, my advice disable it and use Little Nav Map instead. Thomas Derbyshire
September 29, 20205 yr Has Little Nav Map an ingame window implemented? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

September 29, 20205 yr So if we turn on the VFR map after the flight starts, then we can turn the VFR map on/off during the flight, and it won't crash, right? Does this mean that if we don't turn on the VFR map at the start of the flight, and we turn it on later during the flight, that the game may CTD? i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
September 29, 20205 yr There is an option to turn on the VFR map automatically at the start of every flight: Options > Assistance > User Experience > VFR Map UI Panel Open At Start > On So if you force the VFR map to load at the start of every flight this way, shouldn't the bug go away? i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

For me it works.
September 29, 20205 yr Kind of tradition? Previous patch - they broke the controls sensivity UI. Current patch - VFR map broken. This is how it works when you set the release date (possibly they are following Scrum methodology with time-boxed "sprints") and you must cut corners when it comes to quality. You introduce new issue, but you release the patch anyway 😞 Edited September 29, 20205 yr by Steku
