DFW area is horrible

Featured Replies

I live in the DFW area and so I had mmy P3D setup for this area real good. I had the FSDT DFW and not sure who made the Houston GW airport..it was darn good and I had high resolution Photo scenery from Mega Scenery and got some autogen Trees and builds from someone I forget now. I also had Austin and San Antonio airports

Now I flew from Houston to KDFW and I get this

Really? is Bing so bad for this area?

and then when I got close to DFW, I get a CTD. I couldn't even fly a short route from Houston to Dallas. WTH!

I am mad now.

How can I add Mega scenery sceneries to MSFS until MS fixes their stuff? Any ideas?

What graphics settings are you running?  Low/Med/High/Ultra and what’s your LOD set at?

I just did High since I was getting CTD's in Japan. So whatever High gives me in LOD that is it.

You can fly yourself around DFW area at 5K go West to Ft worth side.

That is not DFW in your link.

Hopefully Aboso fixes ares like this around the world sooner rather than later.  But hey at least we can sightsee in Japan for now!

I had something like this happen when I bumped up graphics during a flight.  Bumped several settings.  Should have done them one-by-one.  I had noted my previous settings and returned to them.  Also not one-by-one.  After about three minutes MSFS returned to what it had been...

Interested in how graphics appeared nearer the end of his flight.

I think it's Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

You're seeing offline textures for some reason.
