Carenado 182 review from former 182F owner

Nah Glenn- the REALLY serious simmers have a Galley Call button, and when depressed the Trolly Dolly shows up a few minutes later with Tea and Biscuits.

Mine shows up... never... but hope springs eternal...

@raymar

Ray- just today I was assured that the CEO of @Carenado was made aware of this and the Mooney thread.  What, if anything he/they decide to do with it, remains to be seen.  I do hope they take their opportunity to surprise us, and not just cater to the eye candy crowd.  They may never have this much of a lead over other aircraft developers again, and it would be a real pity for them to fall back now... like everything, time will tell.

A steam gauge 182 (which presumably would share a lot of code and art with the current version) would be a good start. I would buy it.

The specific models that Carenado might be grooming for the Marketplace are most likely among their best sellers during the last few years. I think there will be a group that will be excited and happy no matter what Carenado’s chooses. I will be in that happy group if one has round gauges and maybe a turbo.

Ray- you, Richard Collins and I are all fans of the pressurized turbo Cessna single (with round gauges)... hopefully @Carenado is also. Now, I wonder how many even remember Richard and his father?

He flew his N40RC for a lifetime, 9,000 hours of flying to write about flying. He wrote the article on the M20R Mooney back in 1994. SE Plane of the Year.
Carenado’s Turbo Commander would work for me also.

This is a good read for those that knew Richard Collins and for those that didn’t.
