October 7, 20205 yr Freeware community available MSFS aircraft Mods have obviously become a thing unto themselves. We so far have the A320 and CJ4. A Garmin mod as well if I'm not mistaken because I don't fly GA aircraft. At any rate, trying to find all of the threads related to all currently available aircraft mods is no longer easy. Sorry, but the search function is not as satisfying in that regard anymore, at least not for me. Might the "modding" folk and those who use them benefit by a specific sub-forum for community mods to collect their threads in one location? Just an idea. October 7, 20205 yr It would certainly be helpful if there was some kind of centralized tracking / library of all the mods. There are already too many websites offering addons to keep track of what's available (MSFS addons, nexus mods, flightsim.to etc.). i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
October 7, 20205 yr As well as all of the associated problems with them for the purpose of disambiguation from un-modded aspects of the standard software, equipment, and aircraft. Good idea! October 7, 20205 yr If we had a separate MSFS mod forum the posts would still get lost, especially as more and more mods come about. As it is now you can always "follow" a thread so that you can find it later. It's also a good idea to bookmark each mods github/etc. page so you can find it and their updates later. We no longer have very centralized places for or flight sim mods like we did in the past, they are stored all over the place. so it's best practice to bookmark (in your browser) any place you get a mod from. You can also add all the airports, cities, etc. By keeping them all in one forum they will be easy to find after updates. MSFS is still a work in progress and these Mods seem to be updated almost every week. MSFS
