No wet runways with live weather?

Featured Replies

As someone pointed out that although it looks great, it drys out in no time - still wet long enough for third party Devs to take screenshots of their Airports though 😉

I too have see wet runways and landing on them is tricky... in Alaska. It happens..

Not sure what the conditions have to be but it was live weather.

Has this been reported to Asobo?

What's there to report? That runways don't get wet with light rain? That may have been intended.

They do in presets.

The issue seems to be live weather and presets are different.

It is not a particularly show stopping or important issue but it is genuine.

So one of the things Ive noticed about rain in this game is that I have to be within the altitudes of rain/cloud to see precipitations.. So if the base of the rain is at 2000 if your at 1000 your not go get any rain.. which seems weird considering rain should fall down right ? but nope . So if your runway isnt within the base layer of rain youll not get any.,., least thats been my expierence., may not be right but , I am a cat so whatever.

Pretty much. the rain seems to be more or less IN the cloud layers rather than under them where you would expect.
