October 17, 20205 yr Author I have the sim Locked at 30 externally, no issues as of yet 2 flights only at this time, one day, one night and it appears to be running pretty good. Always hard on fps but stable and fun to fly. yes, I remember when it first came out i think P3D 3 and FSX (Not Sure) I picked up the V2 it was pretty hard on the frames and there were work arounds. But surprising its pretty good V5. Displays and all. It is a bit dated, but, They did a good job getting it into V5. A cool machine to fly and to have in your hanger. October 17, 20205 yr I never sorted out the performance issues. I still get wildly erratic FPS fluctuations, even with all the work arounds. It is a fun bird otherwise. Great shots.
October 17, 20205 yr Yep I noticed yesterday that it was out for P3DV5 in Beta. I had to purchase V2 and although it eats up a couple of FPS it seems to work pretty good. It is without a doubt one of Flight1's best efforts over the years. I would be happy to throw my credit card at them for a full update in V5!! It is a fun bird otherwise. Great shots. I just did a flight from KPSP-PPHX and it was darn near flawless. Locked at 30 bounced around a few times to 27fps on final to KPHX but, no issues. The big stutter issue when first purchased V4 was the displays, but, Now there is no issue that i am having. FPS counter in game top left. I dont know, Its working great for me. So I guess your mileage may very.
