Error downloading or reading wind data

After installing 2.6.2, I receive the following error - Error downloading or reading  wind data: Connection timed out. Both weather and Wind source are set to NOAA. Should I disable wind source? The curious thing is when I disable wind source it still shows the the wind/weather indicator.

Hi Rolf,

I'd keep it disabled until NOAA fixes their servers. The wind forecast and METAR download are different pages from NOAA. That's why you can stil see weather for airports but nothing aloft.

I'm relieved to hear that it's not just me! I just checked that link and got the same "unavailable" message. Other than that, LNM beta is working great for me - many thanks, maestro!

Anyone experiencing this error currently? I have gone to the NOAA site but don't have a clue about it. If it is not a LNM issue and not a NOAA issue then I will just re-install and see what happens but there is no point if it is system wide.🙂
