My biggest issue with it is that it injects the same weather everywhere...but that's what I'll need to use for now to get accurate METARs. Well, it initially injects the weather according to metar more in a global manner at first, however, during flight it updates weather via automation between stations according to the weather load time, so it's not a global feel. You can see the automation between metar loads in these videos. It does so in a very accurate manner in my opinion: Tim FuchsManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com

Thanks Tim for videos interesting - I would have thought it was like a switch it would just be white like a season change in past sims - they are actually modeling over time accumulation But they are not modeling if it all ready snowed and accumulated after snow has stopped in an area as far as I can tell - you would have to select a snow preset Edited October 31, 20205 yr by Richard Sennett Rich Sennett

Here is the changelog: FIXED – Multiple cloud layer decks now rendering properly. FIXED – Registration process, to avoid having to re-enter registration criteria. FIXED – Tightened weather synthesis grid to locate closer airports. FIXED – Reduced thickness of low level overcast cloud layers. FIXED – Increased font of METAR and TAF reports on main interface. IMPROVED – Fog rendering when no clouds are reported in the METAR. ADDED – Support for Pilot2ATC. ADDED – Option to disable Aerosol synthesis during weather injection. ADDED – 4 additional Dynamic Weather Presets: Blizzard, Thunderstorm, Rainy Day and Bob Ross Happy Clouds. November 19, 20205 yr Thanks for the heads up. I’ve been using a combo of Rex and default weather, using Rex when correct metar based weather is critical, ie flying online, with pilot2atc (glad to see that support added!) etc. Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

Weather Force Technical Update 1.2.0 has been released: https://rexsimulations.com/news.html I installed the update today after uninstalling the previous version. I rebooted, then started MSFS, go to Fly Now, then started synthesis. Flight was from Bloomington, Indiana, to Columbus, Ohio. Still MFS 2020 weather issues. Winds from 246° would dictate an approach to 35, not to 17. 46 knots at the surface was way off the charts... All else was well until halfway Dayton to Columbus, then strangely my overcast went to clear skies. I allowed some time for for WF to adjust to metars to no avail. I Alt-Tabbed to WF, stopped synthesis Returned to the sim after a couple of minutes. Then returned to WF and started synthesis again. No joy. Went through that sequence again, and then again. Third trip was a success. True weather returned. Reporting here in case it is a common issue. I checked Speedtest.net a couple of times and there was no issue with my connection. Another issue appears to be a lack of interface with the otherwise problematic MFS 2020 ATC and ATIS/AWOS. ATIS/AWOS with WF in use is accurate for temp and altimeter, but that is about all. Cloud layers in ATIS do not match. Winds are from mars (if it is so windy there). Checkout the image below. Actual real world winds were in the mid teens in wind speed with gusts to 22 to 24. The MFS 2020 ATIS reported winds are off the chart compared to actual. Cloud layers are in no way representative. Winds aloft are relatively representative based on Windy.com and my Fltplan Go. All of that after the most recent update. Can you do anything to better interface with MFS 2020 ATIS/AWOS?
