temporary mega pack livery workaround

Featured Replies

I'm not sure if the megapack is fixed to work yet but there was a workaround uploaded couple days ago.

Maybe it is not needed any longer, I don't know.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I downloaded the latest version yesterday and it worked.

i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

Latest updated version is a simple drag and drop your favorite liveries. Save the zip in your drive and only add the liveries you like. Simple.

Offhand, is anyone aware of a livery manager for these packs that will display a thumbnail of the selected livery. The one they just released does not.

Misunderstood the question. Please delete. Thank you.

The Addons Linker app can display thumbnails. Also makes managing the community folder a breeze. Highly recommended. https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker

Hm, I've been using that since V1. Forgot about the thumbnails. That's good if you have already moved the livery to the folder. I'm talking about these mega packs with 600+ liveries in a zip file. You have to drill down to each individual file to find a thumbnail, if there is one.  I guess I could extract the files to a temp folder and use Addon Linker to see them.

That might work

It does. 😉

And if you get ambitious, you can organize the liveries in various folders within your "temp" folder. (I call it my "holding" folder).

Thanx Jim, I'll play around with it. I really rely on the Linker, great little program.
