November 6, 20205 yr Some of the countryside segments look good, but the foliage colors in the urban segments are way overdone. Way too vivid. And trees do not all change color at once. Again, done better in countryside on that score, and overdone again in urban environments. It is certainly a good start... It may look that way but I studied a lot of tree colors to get what the actual colors may be. No. There will be one file for fall, one for winter and one for spring. You will have to replace the file at the beginning of each season. November 6, 20205 yr Understand. But colors like that are in pockets. Not everywhere. I live in the middle of fall color here, and have lived elsewhere. I've been to Maine during fall, they are are gorgeous and they are bright colors too. I've taken tons of Photography during Fall from that area. BTW...is there a way replace or add coconut trees for Tropical countries like Sri Lanka, South India (Kerala) etc? I am asking to see if its doable.. Not asking YOU to do it. 🙂 Edited November 6, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
November 6, 20205 yr BTW Flight Simulator had a site for suggestions.. I'd like to add a request that they add Coconut trees. Anyone know what that link is? I saw it once, now I can't find it. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

I took a 70 mile drive on a beautiful 65°F day yesterday in my 1969 MGB roadster, with the top down. Enjoying the colors. We are at about 40% color right now. Color normally peaks at just under 60% as some tree varieties peak early and are then gone, and some late. In my 70 mile drive I saw perhaps 3 or 4 four pockets of very vivid solid color like in your video. It is just not that way overall. I have lived in more colorful areas here along the east coast, and near some colorful areas in the midwest, namely Brown County, Indiana. Brown County is an exception in its area. It is not all the same everywhere. I do love what you are doing, and the fact there might be four seasons to select from. Grand idea. November 6, 20205 yr Here is a panarama I put together a few years ago from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. A lot of beautiful color, but just one tree there in the right foreground as vivid orange as... And this area is more colorful than most. I do see lots of vivid orange trees in the background. It depends on where you look at them from.
