Good see it’s possible to mod the ATC phraseology.  I do most of my flying in North America so probably wouldn’t use this but hopefully this demonstrates that some cleaning up of North American terminology will also be possible.  If I were to dream imagine if we could switch between the two depending on where we’re flying...

Probably because the text to voice can't tell the difference.

I don't know if there's a local pronunciation key that you can modify to fix it.

This is configured here:

There are 2 entries:

      "ATCCOM.AIRPORT LFMN.0.text": "Nice",
      "ATCCOM.AIRPORT LFMN.0.tts": "Nice",

the .text is what displays and the .tss is what the simulator pronounces.

Changing the second one into: "Niece" it should sound closer to French "Nice".

PS: I'm trying to find the doc for the phonetic syntax but didn't find any yet, however, some of the entries in this file are using a phonetic entry.

Be nice to create your own so it can say things like "geez mate, your all over the shop like a dog's breakfast, just go around will you "

I wonder if this can be ‘programmed’ to fix to ATIS and ATC QNH readouts. Saying QNH is 29.92 or similar is incorrect. Or maybe only Asobo can fix that. They got it wrong with the metric and hybrid system update they issued in Patch 5.
