November 10, 20205 yr I believe if you start the sim every time offline you can then reconnect to the internet once you are past the update window. HOWEVER - note that I have never tried this myself so proceed at your own risk. November 10, 20205 yr As with any game that is a live service, online authentication is essential. Even if you choose to fly 'offline' .. the sim is still connected to an xbox gamertag and I can only assume to prevent piracy, it verifies your client version.

I have the Microsoft version, and it will not start without the internet connected. There is no 'Offline Mode' that I have been able to find. David, CYXE
