November 15, 20205 yr Can you not select a place to 'depart' just off the ends of the runway? I haven't tried it but if you accidentally click anywhere on the globe you get a 'depart' option. I'm off to try it. 🙂 You spawn in the air. Oh well, now I know. Edited November 15, 20205 yr by Ron Attwood The World is divided into two groups. November 16, 20205 yr You can also choose what parking spot the ATC will send you to when you land at your destination, but that prevents you from selecting what runway you want to land at.

Yeah, there does not seem to be an option to "spawn" on the ground if you select a random spot on the globe. Same when you try to spawn on a friend online (that actually sounds quite bad 🙂 ). Not a biggie for me as I 99,9% start on the ramp, cold & dark.
