Envshade/Tex work in new hotfix?

My left view client shows the clouds very well. 
I have EA clouds resolution at Max.

As I have a full size 737-800 cockpit I do not look down but around 120 degrees max..

When I get my 3090 GPU installed I will push my reso to max and give it another go.

Yes, you could do it with 3090~

My 3090 works well for EA reso ultra. But in some aircrafts the GPU usage only stay at 60-70%

There is an update, has anyone tested it?

Yes, it´s a compatibility update for ENV to get it work with HF1. It does waht it did in 5.1 before, so don´t ecspect much on the EA side, but it works well for the legacy mode without EA

Just question about water quality. Default (even with Rex textures) water in v5, with less settings than ultra quality looks terrible, especially if the plane is in the water alone or in flight. It looks like a sheet of ice in the distance. Does Envshade improve it in P3Dv5.1?

It doesen´t, as far as i have seen in my Sim.

hi fluffi, for clarification:

1. ENV TEX and SHADE works in 5.1 in NON-EA mode by 100 % (shading and texturing of sky, clouds, water etc.)

2. In EA-mode-ON at present the shader portion for lights, and athmospheric bahavior of ENVSHADE can´t do anything because this is controlled by EA own shading/render model. ToGA is actually working on further development that you get total control with ENV also in EA-mode

2. In EA-mode-ON ENVTEX improve textures which are not depend on the athmosperic model you use (EA or legacy) like, water, ground etc. but not for EA-clouds and EA sky for instance. 

So generally speaking ENV has a major improvement if you use legacy mode, but sparse influance if you use EA actually. But as i said, as same as HiFi with AS ToGA is also getting deeper into EA to bring more controlpossibility in the future.

agreed.  I can only use it of EA is off. I get the bright white mountains otherwise

But if you switch EA off and let P3D reload its textures and switch EA on the bright white mountains are gone. So it seems to be a P3D Issue again

With EA on all terrain, water, HDR and the cockpit tweak do work. Only sky , haze and clouds tweaks are override by EA.
