Now, if only they would consider shocking the flightsim world, and develop a super detailed version of EINN Shannon I think MK may do that in the near future they now have two in Ireland. There has to be some middle ground between spending 2 years doing a top of the class remake and improving an already good product. Sort of like doing a lite version upgrade, with improved texture resolution, Dynamic Lighting, and some PBR.

Sort of like doing a lite version upgrade, with improved texture resolution, Dynamic Lighting, and some PBR. Well, PBR is actually a hard thing to add, and although Umberto mentioned that FSDT has been using the Subtance suite for a little while now in making their sceneries, I'm not sure they were using it back when they did KJFK. If not, adding PBR will be a major operation that will require lots of work both on the models and the actual texturing. So, u unfortunately, I don't think a 'lite' upgrade is in the cards for KJFK; at least not if you want to update the textures to use PBR and such. That said, personally what I want is updated terminals. in particular, the demolishing of terminal 3 and extensions to terminal 4. The only reason I'm using DD's KJFK is because it effects these updates to the airport and FSDT does not. Otherwise, I'd pick FSDT's KJFK any day over DD's, quite frankly. And since we're anyway on the topic of NYC airports, I really, really miss a good rendition of KEWR! December 2, 20205 yr One experience I made with FSDT sceneries is that they're usually heavier on the performance, at least the KSDF and KMEM airport scenery I used to own. Can't speak for the current one. Personally I'm using the Drzewiecki Design KORD scenery and the performance and visuals are great. Highly recommended! It's also currently on sale at simMarket for 50% off for $22.74 instead of the the $45+.
December 2, 20205 yr I use the FSDT KORD and it’s quite good. I couldn’t use the old version anymore as the runway configuration has changed so much.
