December 4, 20205 yr This is the continuation post (from EGKA/Shoreham) of my (virtual) explorations into two rustic but delectable UK airport sceneries. This airport, (EGCW), located 2 nm south of Welshpool, Powys, Wales, just as Shoreham, is also popular for flying instruction and pleasure flights. Here, I've combined, in this post, sample screenshots of lifting off, from EGCW Runway (barely made it off...🙂...), in Carenado's EMB-505 Phenom 300, while getting sights of the beautiful (rolling) vista nearby... So, please find, below, a collection of local images, in and around this picturesque (small-town) airport...and, in addition, a set of ("eye-candy"(?) but still fun) screenshots of the (Carenado) Phenom 300. BTW, how about the "damsel" in distress,...🙂...spotted speaking on the phone calling for help(?)...I see automobiles and airplanes nearby, not sure, if she is a Pilot, though...🙂... Hope you enjoy the tour of this scenic airport plus the images of this (T-Tail) luxurious light jet aircraft, in the (fictional) color of Lufthansa "Precious Cargo"...! Thanks for your interest...! Happy flying...! [Orbx(Welshpool)/Orbx(BOB)/Carenado(Phenom)/REX]
December 5, 20205 yr Nice selection of shots for soaking up the atmosphere around the ramp. Aerial views look good too. John
December 5, 20205 yr Author Appreciated the comments, John...! Yes, Orbx's small-town airports are a treasure-trove of interesting sights...especially coupled with Bob's unrestricted access permit...🙂...

Yes, I know I can certainly count on your gallantry (or is it chivalry or maybe both...?)...to help someone in need...🙂...! 5 hours ago, andy1252 said: Nice set of shots. You know my FSX/SE would fall apart due to OOM at large airport sceneries, if I max my Sliders...but, in small airports (like this) typically I seem to survive...which I've managed to do here... Also, the plane/SIM is not overly complex...🙂...which helps too...

Gallantry.. that's it.. thank you... that is the word I would use. She looked a little cold, given that it is December and the UK is not a tropical country. December 7, 20205 yr Author Folks: Thanks for the additional comments...and glad you thought it all real and liked the details...🙂... 3 hours ago, HighBypass said: ....given that it is December and the UK is not a tropical country... Mark: BBC Welshpool weather tells me, there, it is about 4 degrees (C) today (or about 40 degrees (F) which is the more common unit for us around here...). However, please be advised, your truly, has magically set the (local) season to "Spring" for sightseeing purpose...🙂....anticipating cold and snow might preclude some pleasure-flying activities... BTW, folks, I wish to point out one (somewhat trivial) thing here: as you know Orbx's (human) objects are animated...i.e. they are either walking/moving back-and-forth or if standing in one place, at least moving their arms around (of course all such motions are repetitive). So, in my first and 3rd screenshots, here, I've paused and snapped the images, at the (exact) point I liked it, to show a bit of extra effect...🙂...
