Official forum changes incoming

Featured Replies

Tomorrow the official forums will undergo some changes to accompany Sim Update 2. These include an entirely new VR section to discuss various aspects of it, and very importantly, the Bugs & Issues section will undergo a total overhaul with sub-categories to better organise the huge amount of bug reports. There will be a section for VR bugs as well. All threads with 100 votes and more will be moved automatically, and for a month you will be able to move over your own thread, but all others will be archived. So if you have created a bug thread, keep that in mind.

All details can be found here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/forums-new-sections-tomorrow/337927/

Wow, there'll be a VR section of the forum? That's going to be like being in the The Matrix or Tron or something. 🤣

it is going to make the forums very hard to read for those of us without a VR headset.

It's the current year. There's no excuse to not own at least 1 or 2 VR headsets.

I vote to make these Avsim forums VR-only as well. Flatscreeners will just have to put up with 2 slightly blurry pages of text next to each other. Mods? Can you make this happen - ta!

I'm getting my Oculus ready to go. I've been waiting for this since the Sim was announced. I am going to be saving up for a new headset though, possibly the Reverb 2. At least the Rift 2 will give me an idea of what to expect.
