Weather Force Not injecting Weather After Update

Recommended Posts

That’s to be expected. Since that program directly accesses the memory of the running sim process, and the update installed a new version of the main sim executable, the memory addresses will have changed. Rex will have to update their software to be compatible.

It’s a similar reason as to why Active Sky for P3D always has to be updated whenever a new version of the sim is released.

I also in the meantime cannot activate LIVE weather a la MSFS style.  If I toggle it in the list it just snaps back to the clear skies selection

This time it is confirmed that the latest update broke WF. They are already beta testing the fix.

Seems to work now. It showed rain (TNCM) but there where a few clouds and no rain. Weather forecast (internet) showed exactly the same few clouds no rain. So i think it is working just fine i guess.

Thanks for the update @timest

Thanks for the quick fix, I should start a new topic but i'll forget so I'll ask here. Has anyone noticed significant perfromace drop when WF is loading the weather every ten minutes or whenever its set to? For me the sim grinds to a halt each time.

@timest

Thanks for the quick update. Can we access release notes anywhere?

I went through partly cloudy to heavy rain to snow (with snow on ground) to sunny (snow vanished instantly) within a matter of 20 minutes at LOWI earlier today. Zero immersions there ... 😟
