Now all we need is the G3000 issues fixed by WT and that's a wrap for this bird as far as issues after the patch.

The G3000 using the latest update is not displaying STAR approaches.  This has been discussed in another thread.

Ok, thanks.  Guess I missed that.

I think the latest 0.3.4 fixes that:

Release Highlights (v0.3.4)

  • Fixed nav map not drawing approach paths.
  • Fixed PFD autopilot display not flashing appropriate warnings (e.g. when the autopilot is disengaged).

Wow, the Longitude is back in full working order.  I mentioned to the Mod developer that the autopilot pitch control is a little aggressive now, hope he takes a look at that.  I’m amazed at how fast all these modders got things turned around.  This is unsustainable in the long run as people come and go like what happened to the TBM project.  Asobo needs to get this sim stable and not break things with every patch release.  The problem is this time it made since as the handling/sensitivity updates were needed.  Just the same other things need to be left alone at this point like night lighting.  Night lighting looks amazing now and it would be frustrating if they messed with it any further same goes for the sim’s flight dynamics.  Give the modders a break and move on to fixing things like the new snow feature, ATC, advancing VR, fixing terrain spiking issues around the planet, the water creeping up mountain issue, and water masks around tropical islands so our sim can look like what’s advertised in the marketing screenshots.

Agree in all, especially with this...

Agree Dillon.  I have  had to reinstall MSFS 2020 3 times because of this update.  Looks like we're going to have these problems after every update they do.  My own personal opinion is the updates should be optional.  I had my sim working perfectly.  I am totally good with guys like Working Title fixing things and downloading their work.  Then the update comes and undoes their work and now we have to start over again.  I'm with you about how fast some of these developers have fixed Asobo's fixes.  Frustrating.

I think it's unavoidable.  Even XP11 sometimes broke things in it's patches.  The difference is those patches would go internal beta, then public beta, then stable release.  MS should just do a public opt out beta each update.

I wonder if the team working on MSFS right now have the capabilities to provide a working basic autopilot and flight management system. They have bounced around for four months trying to get it right. Name me one Plane the fly's as good as a FSX Plane when it came out.

Sorry but we will have to wait on Mod developers and after market planes assuming Asobo can provide a legit Sdk package for them.
