Vehicle Traffic

Featured Replies

I just installed MSFS and have it working pretty well.  I use a Rift CV1 and a DOFReality H3 motion platform.  I have noticed there is no vehicle traffic even though I have the vehicle traffic set at 100%.  Have I missed a setting somewhere or is there an issue with vehicle traffic?  I have been flying out of KOZW and around An Arbor and Detroit.

Thanks for your input.

mmmm? never ever had traffic problems. Sorry you can't find any.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I've seen lots of places where a major highway has almost zero cars moving and nearby residential cul-de-sacs have a parade of vehicles entering/exiting the little loop, including big rigs. So, it isn't a fixable problem if one road has no traffic. Is there isn't any in the entire city than that is indeed a 'bug', or you're just too high to see it.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

The Traffic settings have a separate set of settings for VR, did you set it to 100% for VR mode?

I was having a no traffic problem also today on a major highway. Not sure what is going on with it.

Kind regards,

Tim

Traffic doesn't show up in VR, only when in 2D.

That is incorrect, I see traffic in VR.

Interesting comments about traffic specific to VR.  I didn't know there was a separate setting for traffic in VR.  Where would I find that setting?  As for the comment concerning altitude, I was flying under 3000 MSL, so, should have been able to see vehicle traffic.

It must be affected by other settings then, because I always see traffic when in 2D mode, but never see it in VR mode.

Oh, I didn't realize there is completely different settings for traffic for VR, set the same way as the graphics, by selecting "VR" instead of "PC"   Now I have life back on the roads and airports!
