Just trying to install mine for P3D5 - haven't tried MSFS yet.

Have Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle and CH Rudders attached. In P3D I have joysticks disabled as I have always used FSUIPC to map all controllers. I have the yoke working just fine using FSUIPC. Decided to use the configurator software to set up the AP, buttons and LED's. Using the video ( oh boy) and trial and error, I was able to get "most" of the functions working. My problem is the axis levers. Set up the default twin prop in FSUIPC. Problem - move throttle1 and sim has the yoke moving back and forth, throttle 2 moves the rudders and mixture 1 moves the ailerons. As I write this it occurs to me I didn't check to see if somehow the config software ENABLED my joysticks so I'll check that.

The video doesn't go into how to assign the throttles using the software. Any idea how to do that? Worst case, I'll use the software to set up a few profiles for twin single etc and bypass FSUIPC if I have to.

After spending a heap more time trying to sort this, it seems that FSUIPC and the Honeycomb Yoke absolutely hate one another in regards to the throttle, mixture and pitch axis’s.

I can get it to basically work however the full throw is not there at the moment.  Eg the pitch levers don’t go fully forward or back despite the controller being physically fully forward or fully back.

Not sure what the solution is to be honest as how can i switch from a twin engine piston to a twin jet without deleting axis through the P3D controls menu each time.

This is a real mess and Honeycomb really need to fix it....

At the moment I am really angry with the lack of support and the quite frankly pitiful programming that has caused these issues to occur.

JUst as a comment - remember - the range of the Bravo axis is from top to the detent not to the bottom. Below the detent is a switch not an axis. I get full range travel in FSUIPC from top to detent.

Thanks for your comments, i do already understand this. Unfortunately this is not the problem i am encountering.

I have had to run the axis through P3D instead of FSUIPC unfortunately as if i run the axis through fsuipc as soon as i go to calibrate it, the axis will not work. If i leave the axis uncalibrated then the axis is reversed....

Cant win either way.

Whoa, a whole lotta rage here.

My experience with Honeycomb support has been the exact opposite...  I had a thrust lever with a bad reverse thrust thingy, and a support rep got back to me within 12 hours of submitting a ticket, on a Saturday night and they're sending me a brand new lever (the whole thing, not just the broken reverse thrust lever thingy) no questions asked.  No where did you buy it, nor when, nor even "hey, can you send in a proof of purchase, no nothing, just, it's broken, OK, a new one is on the way!  And at the risk of being repetitive, the response came in about 10pm on Saturday evening!!!

That is not the action of a company who sucks or doesn't care about their customers!!

I also had an axis that wasn't behaving properly, but one 2 minute YouTube video that was close to my issue, but not exactly the same, and I got it fixed with no problems.

I'm still searching for an answer as to why all of a sudden I can only increment altitudes by 1,000' or other things (headings, most notably) by increments of 10 instead of 1, which is why bing led me to this thread in the first place, and I find some serious h8 going on to a company who's support for a brand new customer (ME!) has been above and beyond the call of duty.

Noting that every person here having software issues is using P3D and FSUIPC, I'd say your problem lies there, because although I still  have to find a solution to the increment issue, in MSFS it's been running almost (but not quite) perfectly.  I set it up for simple singles, complex singles and twins, and 2 engine jets, I changed what the buttons do all with no real issues.

Anyway, after all the hate, I thought I'd share a little love.

Thanks,
KKT

PS...  If you can help with my increment problem, please LMK...

Where is the support for fsx users.  I raised a support ticket 12 weeks ago.  1st response came after 3 weeks, gave links to driver software FOR FS20 and PREP3d.

3 subsequent replies all the same. 3 weeks between each reply. Links to youtube tutorials all relate to FS20 and PREP 3d even though I stated I was using FSX.

I am thoroughly disgusted that this outfit has taken A$460 of my hard earned for a piece of word not allowed that is obviously not designed for FSX.

I will not change to FS20 as I am a commercial pilot and FS20 is still only a game.
