January 27, 20215 yr Hi all, Happy user of P3D v5...as well as, ORBX Active Sky and Active Sky Cloud Art, ETC. But, I am not sure why there are three listings for P3D with ASCA...I have not seen a dedicated AS forum here, so am using this thread. Thanks... Sherm
January 27, 20215 yr Hi Sherman, It may be better to post that observation over at the Hifi forum here if you have not already done so: https://forums.hifisimtech.com/forums/general-product-technical-support.7/. That certainly looks weird that it has identified 3 installs of the same simulator. Have you tried to Reset Simulator Definitions option? January 28, 20215 yr Author Hi Mark, I have submitted a ticket at highifisimtech, but so far no response. Otherwise, I have done nothing within ASCA, which aside from the anomaly noted, appears to be performing well. Thanks. Sherm
February 7, 20215 yr Author Latest update....my ticket is closed out at hifisimulations, and their people were very helpful. I was trying to run ASCA with P3D EA....does not work...so I uninstalled ASCA and now simply use AS version 7938 with EA...I have had to pull my setting back to less demanding position in P3D, but overall, I like the look EA gives to the sim. February 8, 20215 yr Does EA reproduce convectice / Cb / Tcu type clouds ? Ns ? Is it noticeably heavier than default clouds + ASCA ( specially when used with DXT5 optimized textures ) ?
