A320NEO MOD

Featured Replies

Hello

Where is the latest MOD everyone is talking about with the Printer Feature and EFB mounted but not functional yet.

On GitHub the stable version is 0.5.2 from January 9th.

Also, does everybody experience the hard bouncing on TD of the Airbus? I tried with AP and without and it always bounces two times until it slows down to a manageable speed.

My Landing configuration is set up correctly every time (Full Flaps, Spoilers, Speed Brakes and Speed)

Best

The printer and EFB is with the 'developer' version of the mod. I have not experienced the bouncing you describe?

John

Stable version is way behind the development version, especially the development version with the custom fly by wire system. My suggestion, forget the stable version. The dev version with custom fly by wire is just as stable and far more advanced. It is an extremely well behaved aircraft and if you take the time to learn its systems, a great experience.

Download the latest installer from the FBW team and let it install the mod for you. https://github.com/flybywiresim/installer

Select the green code button and download the zip file.

Check it each time you fly, it gets updated daily.

I noticed quite a considerable fps increase with the dev version too. Not sure if that was just a placebo.

They were mentioning somewhere that they worked on optimization and frame increase. It is definitely an improved experience in the dev version. Haven't tried the FBW version yet...

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

The FBW experimental version recently added 'rotate law' which is explained in this video,,

Quite amazing to me what they (FBW) are adding to this mod!

I’ve been using the custom FBW experimental version and it works great, very stable.

They have also added a few of the other “Neo” laws and also some of the “protections” such as roll and g-force limits.

Get the new updater, it's great and really easy to use, also auto updates.
