The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

It's funny.  I can be in a store or standing in a checkout line or waiting for a plane, but when I see someone wearing a Marine cover or a globe and anchor lapel pin or anything that designates the person as a Marine I just have to say 'Semper Fi' and an instant connection is made.

You are IN the Navy, or you are IN the Army, or you are IN the Air Force but you ARE a Marine.  There's a difference.
