This is what I don't get. People seem to think that because there's no this or that plane in the new MSFS, this somehow makes other sims cease to exist. Half the time people already own these planes in another sim, and really, if the scenery in other sims is bothering you because you've been spoiled by a shiny new toy, just do a flight at night or in IMC in FSX, FS2004 or P3D, XPlane, AeroFly or whatever, the scenery looks the same as MSFS in all those other sims in the dark.

And you can happily Fly an MD-11 in many of those sims because there's a few available, and some DC-10s too, or a 727, 707, 727, DC-8, DC-9, DC-2, DC-3, L1011, Constellation, Concorde, in fact pretty much every aeroplane ever, most of which you probably already own.

I kinda skip through most of this thread, so when are they releasing it? And will it be for MSFS as well?

If you’re wondering when PMDG will be releasing the MD-11, probably best to go to their forum and start a new thread over there. Or dm/call Robert Randazzo directly, he’ll be best placed to provided you with the release date.

"There are three simple rules for making a smooth landing. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are."

PMDG are not being dishonest, after all what about the developers who built there reputation on scenery products for FSX and P3D and addons who now have no interest in them, and would not exist without them in the past.

OK, we've gone and jumped the shark here.  Time to find another windmill to tilt at.
