February 11, 20215 yr Yeah but you don't even need Geforce Experience unless you want to record videos through Shadowplay. The first thing to do on a branded PC is to remove all the bloatware: the less tasks you run in the background, the better is. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
February 13, 20215 yr I just got an Omen 2 hours ago and I am in the process of (finally) installing MSFS. Seems to be a fast machine, but the fan on the back makes a really annoying sound. Do you have that as well? Thanks, Peter
February 13, 20215 yr Author @qqwertzde No sound from anywhere within the PC. It's a 30L. I see they are now being sold with the RTX 30 series. Mine has the 20 series. I get a lot of noise (like an idling car) from the fan in the back, not the one that takes care of the GPU. I have a 30L as well, and yes, they now come with 30x. You inspired me to update my profile 🙂 Your CPU is still better, though 🙂 Cheers, Peter P.S.: 35GB download left until I can enjoy MSFS 2020 🙂
February 14, 20215 yr What ever you buy, stay away from Digital Storm PC's. I ordered one a month ago, they shipped it to the wrong address ( their error), they asked Fedex to return it to them, so I never laid eyes on it. Now they want to charge me a $350 restocking fee for a PC I never even got.
