However I have Iobit driver booster installed and I keep getting a pop-up to update 3 drivers. Which one do I believe? Windows or drive booster? Thanks! A. February 22, 20215 yr IObit used to be really good, but a few years ago it became bloatware and I dumped it. I also went down the road of letting Windows Vista keep drivers updated until I ended up with a new video driver that would crash that computer. My advice, don't worry about always having the latest drivers. Install drivers that work well and leave them alone. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

February 22, 20215 yr I don't trust any 3rd party sites for drivers. Drivers are great places to hide malware. In many years I only had one single problem installing a recommended driver from IOBit driver booster. Windows just recently started to suggest optional driver updates and I already had a severe failure after such an optional update. So there's no better or worse for both. It is always a risk to change a winning team. On the other hand, there's only the need to have a safe system. Never got a performance increase with newer drivers, at least not noticeable for me. In IObit you can just select to ignore this or all future updates for a certain driver, then it does not longer remind (annoy) you.
