Beast One - Building the best Microjet in the world

We are a group of skilled dedicated people, entitled to develop the safest and most awesome Microjet in the world! We thought ourselves: "What would James Bond choose to fly?" The "Beast One" is the answer, featuring state of the art aerodynamics, carbon monocoque technology as used in formula one racing and all safety features you can think of.

With a MTOW of 380kg and aerobatic capabilities, this artpiece of carbon will be the next cool gadget for anybody wanting to own his/her own jet with no compromises at only the cost of an average four seater. Economic cruising at 230kt or landing on grass with a stall speed of only 52kt? Getting the 500$ burger or pulling up to 13.5G? Just name it, the Beast is your aircraft of choice!

How to fly:
  • Before engine start: Turn on battery, turn on Nav/Pos/Strobe lights, activate the starter - as easy as it gets
  • Taxi: Turn on Landing lights (taxi setting will follow in later revision)
  • Short field procedure: Use flaps 15° for short field operation (below 2000ft field length), otherwise flaps up.
  • Rotate at 70kt and climb initially at 90kt. Then accelerate to 120kt cruise climb while reducing thrust to 90% and retract the gear, turn off landing lights
  • Cruise: reduce the thrust setting to roughly 50% and cruise at 230kt. High speed cruise up to 300kt possible (requires MCT thrust in reality)
  • Descend: activate landing lights an reduce thrust to zero. Descend at 150-230kt
  • Approach: level off until speed drops to 150kt. Use spoilers (available but not modeled yet) if required. Flaps 15° and gear down short before final. Flaps 40° after turning final
Attention: this aircraft is not finished yet and will not be for some time, as the real aircraft is undergoing some changes in cockpit and tail design.

If you don't wish to give a five star rating, just leave it be for the time being. Updates will be made on a regular base. Donate via PayPal to speed things up and check our social accounts for updates.

Version 0.3.0:

This is the first usable version. The cockpit is not modeled yet except for the Garmin G3X and some switches. The gear/pilot/etc. are only rough placeholders and there is the known bug, that it sometimes starts with empty tanks (refill via the menu). The fligh model is not yet accurate and textures are mostly missing. Still, it is sufficient to get a first glimpse and have some fun.

The working G3X mod is recommended for the best experience: Download G3X mod

Actually he would and did fly the BD-5 in Octopussy 🙂

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Downloaded.

Primitive with big holes in it but flies OK, has distinct possibilities.

Seems to have the DA62 thumbnails which makes it look like it is not installed when you go to the selector, but its not hard to overwrite the DA62 ones with more relevant images.

Looks good.  Thanks for your hard work in bringing this to us.

To be clear, I have no involvement in this. The text is just copy pasted from the download site because I know sometimes eagar simmers just click the download link without bothering with the tiny (tiny!) little text on the site.
