KingAir weather Radar

Recommended Posts

Am I missing something or is there no option to display the weather in the KingAir?  Thanks to anyone who knows, haven't flown this bird much.

I've been looking for it since august, but no joy so far LOL . I think you can try mod of G3000 and may find it there

Weather radar depiction doesn’t mean anything now in MSFS, unless you like looking at cloud returns regardless of altitude.

There is no reason to think the SDK won't give the tools to do this:

PS: when looking at this screenshot, it is amazing to me how antiquated the weather is compared to what we have now, but also this reminds me how during all this time no other Wx radar came close to accuracy and performance. Yes I know I'm tapping my own back in saying so, but honestly, the only reason this was possible is because the implementation transcends what the SDK can deliver, both in getting the source data where it is, but also in rendering the WX image (and this is not even a GPU accelerated simulation).

I am using this gauge in every aircraft whose VC I can fit it into.  Most here know how important accurate weather is to me in my simulation flying, and why.  Navigation is just as important by the way, particularly where weather presents challenges.  The two go hand-in-hand.
