>wow indeed, >>I have to agree that is the longest URL I have ever seen...>>wowNear the top of the airliners.net page, there is a URL link to use if you want to link to the picture, which provides a much shorter address. That's what he should have used to link to the picture. Also, the person is actually standing underneath the rear of the wing behind the engine, so by a trick of perspectivce, it makes the engine look bigger than it actually is.

Am I the only one for who the A380 doesn't do anything?

No....you are not the only one.

How do those compare with the 777-200 LR engines?Jeff

Sorry for puting such a looooooooooooooooooooooong URL. It's just that when I saw the pictue I was so amazed that I wanted to post it as fast as possible. The picture really sotr is eye tricking, because no airplane motor is that big!Regards to everyoneAlexhttp://www.fs2crew.com/betateam.jpghttp://www.pic767flyingclub.com/siggies/lsd1.jpg

Actually the T7 engines you can stand up in apparently, it's got the biggest airliner engines in the world. The biggest on a fighter plane go to the Mig-25, which by all accounts are 6' in diameter.

You mean you're not impressed by it at all - not even one teeny weeny bit??Personally I'm really looking forward to seeing it in action at LHR. And in the sky over my house.. :9

nope.Just a big hunk of plastic that's waiting to fall apart.

Gosh, is it? Thanks for putting me straight. I had no idea...
