It is amazing how there are actually very good French words for most modern technologies or memes. A few examples: courriel (email), pourriel (spam), divulgacher (spoiler). 🤣 I must admit that I use the word mail rather than courriel but I have an excuse, I think the English borrowed the word from the French several centuries ago. ANd courriel doesn't sound right to many French. Divulgacher is new for me. I agree for digital vs numérique but having fought that fight for years I'm afraid it is a lost fight. And yes I always been admirative of the will of Québec to keep their French alive. It is sometimes a little disturbing though for instance when they call Skyrim Bord-de-ciel 😅. Do not let French suffer the same fate! I love France! Keep your unique culture, way of life and language intact. Ours is lost. But when I go to France to see our friends it's still so beautifully French and I hope it stays that way!
