I must admit this whole XBox tie-in gives us "Simmers" no end of grief. I also ended up doing the "XBoxLive re-login dance" after losing all my online functionality and making my sim look worse than Tetris. What a total unmitigated disaster. Thank goodness for the Internet - and all the similarly afflicted souls that took the trouble to post possible causes and fixes.

The "update" process needs a good rogering IMHO.

I am also getting the “packages out of date” warning. It’s a show stopper and I have submitted a Zendesk ticket. They are sorry for the inconvenience. No online functionality and a total mess.

A solution to get it going again was posted yesterday afternoon on this thread. .

Lets see my Community folder has only the the JF Arrow and Mooney in it. I guess I will take them both up this afternoon and crash them into a mountain, with default ATC's help. That should solve this problem...

I think ATC is just a modern version of the sirens of old that lured sailors into danger.
(And please don't say 'crash'. I've had plenty of them already and don't want to invoke more)

I got the software out of date thing and honestly didn't think much about it. I hit yes when prompted (I think) waited a few minutes for MSFS to do its thing, and everything was fine.

Judging from this thread, I was half expecting the gates of heck to open up, but...... nope.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

probably by the time you did this, they had corrected the "eat your log syndrome", since Asobo had been contacted by yesterday afternoon.
