Four pics to illustrate that in spite of the shortcomings, MFS is bringing a new dimension to the hobby. Four regions that were neglected before.  The mix of nice aircraft (the Flyingiron Spit' and the Milviz Corsair) in great sceneries.

Extremely good point Dominique. I've said to my fellow pilots on many occasions, I can scarcely recall anywhere we've flown that didn't look more than bloody marvellous!

Best place to explore the world Dominique, especially in today's upside down world. Well done! 

Yes, it is about exploration and it is about flying too. The challenges (aviate/navigate) differ from place to place. By taste and hardware limitations I am encline to fly outside large hubs and I like variety, there is plenty to do now in this regard. This is a planet-size Orbx « fat region » 😀.

Way better than that even, I would have said. I've been flying around places in South America, Mexico, Russia, the 'Stans and others that are up there with True Earth levels of representation. And the basics for things like vegetation leave everything else choking in the dust. Not to say there haven't been (relative) disappointments but they are very few and far between. And even in those rare places they're still ahead of the equivalent areas in the likes of P3D. Factor in the H135 and I can see me wasting pretty much the rest of my days in this sim! (and when I say 'wasting' I actually mean 'loving every minute of it')

Your screenies show the true beauty of the new sim. When I head over to the ORBX forum and look at pics from OLC Africa for example and then fly in the same area in MSFS, boy oh boy, what a huge difference. And we are talking default scenery here. Give it eventually a better mesh and it would look even more marvelous. 

Oh, btw, how did you manage to get the Corsair airborne 🤣🤣

Re : OLC Africa. Funny, I had the same thought. I flew yesterday the Kruger NP in MFS to compare with the Orbx screenshot thread. I couldn’t go back. 

Corsair : do you lock the tailwheel (lever to push on the left side, behind the rudder trim) ? 

Btw, Bernd, speaking of Africa go and have a look in Somalia, some astounding landscapes and some good mesh too.

Had never seen Vietnam, here,...(from South of France to South of Vietnam),....🙂....[I've a long time friend, originally from Vietnam, who used to regularly visit Vietnam once every year...except this year and the last..]

Thanks, Dominique. Yes, I do, still it's a tough one. Oh well...life would be boring without the occasional challenge.

And thanks for the hint re Somalia, I'll definitely give it a try. Yesterday I flew from Windhoek to Walvis Bay. I know that on the way, there is a huge uranium mine. It's all here in MSFS too, nice!
