XP11 Clouds

It's been said that XP lacks decent clouds. They are getting better thanks to xEnviro:

I would agree. They look great!

Intel i-9 13900KF @ 6.0 Ghz, MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X 24GB, MSI MAG CORELIQUID C360, MSI Z790 A-PRO WIFI, MSI MPG A1000G 1000W, G.SKILL 48Gb@76000 MHz DDR5, MSI SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2TB, Windows 11 Pro Ghost Spectre x64

“We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the day and night to visit violence on those who would do us harm”.

XE is really great. Was fine for me with 1080p, I recently upgraded to Gsync QHD monitor and frames tanked, hope v1.17 in the works will improve performance with new spherical buffer being worked on.

Nice shots.

xEnviro ?

For me there is no better for XP. There is not much missing for it to be excellent.

I agree! xEnviro is the best. When we consider all the money that has to be spent on all kinds of weather add-ons in order to get what xEnviro offers out the box, it's actually a bargain.

I'd like to see in v 1.17, less cloud pixellation in certain situations, such as at dusk, a visibility slider, and better displayed VC rain effects.

As for X-Plane 11, if someone adds similar water to the one I see in MSFS, I might donate MSFS to charity. 😀

While some find it hard to go back to their 'legacy" sims, I'm finding it harder and harder to load MSFS.  I'm having too much fun right now with X-Plane 11.53.

Never have been an XP person, but the clouds are looking much better than what I've seen before. ☺️

HP Omen Obelisk Gaming Computer, Intel Core i7-9700, Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 System Memory 4.7GHz 8 cores, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Graphics with 8GB GDDR6 memory, PSU 750 watts, 1TB hard drive, Samsung T7 2TB SSD, 512 GB SSD, WD 5TB HDD,  Logitech HOTAS X52 Pro Joystick, AOC 27" monitor,

What bothers me the most about MSFS is its "GTA" appearance which doesn't give me the natural global world that I was expecting.

I prefer the rendering engine of xEnviro. The altitude effect is present,A detail that makes all the difference.
