Does anyone know how i can get rid of these spiralling planes? I have traffic global but don't see an option to disable them. Thanks!

Yup, you need to get one of these, whereby you can hit them with more than one missile, which apparently wasn't enough:

Wow, is that xEnviro? In this pic, it looks even more realistic than MSFS!

Anyway, to get rid of those aircraft, in the flight configuration screen, try clicking on the "AI Aircraft" tab (above on the right in the aircraft selections window) and deactivate all the active AI aircraft.

In addition - if you want AI aircraft, only use "supported" ones - you CAN also use other aircraft (like the SR71) to act as AI, but they aren´t tuned to behave well and may decide to do "aerobatics" from time to time 😉
