June 20, 20214 yr Has anyone seen this before? Taking off from St Barth. A quick 48 second video I made of the problem Edited June 20, 20214 yr by styckx ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
June 20, 20214 yr Looks like a graphics card issue. How long were you using the graphics card before this happened? I went to St. Barths and I do not have this issue.
June 20, 20214 yr I've had that around Nassau Bahamas before. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
June 20, 20214 yr Author It seems to be a LOD issue. Once you get above a certain height it doesn't appear anymore. Absolutely no issues in any other game, and blasts through Time Spy Extreme benchmark with no artifacts or crashing. And @ryanbatcund confirmed all I needed to know. It happens to others. June 20, 20214 yr On my PC I also see the tiles poping in. Not as extreme as in the video but nevertheless. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

June 20, 20214 yr At first I did not see the issue, but now I do. It's not the drivers. It looks like it does need to be reported to Zendesk. I went to external view and it doesn't look as bad as what you have but I can see when I get really close to the water there is some blocky strangeness where it looks like the photo tiles are disappearing. From altitude it looks fine. Edited June 20, 20214 yr by aniiran
June 20, 20214 yr I wonder if this is a settings issue? Mine is now set at high-end and did not see any square tiles. MSFS
