June 25, 20214 yr Well guys, with their usual remarkable efficiency and their absolute consistency, I have a flawed update. Yesterday, I had great vfr VR flights in my two favourite aircraft the DA62x and the Bonanza turbo G36. This morning I loaded MSFS to be greeted with an update which I downloaded and installed. Now my DA62x has disappeared, the DA62 has black MFD and PFD, as has my G36. I then re-installed the DA62x and that too, features black MFD and PFD. I tried the TBM and that is OK. I figured that the problem is the WTG1000 so I deleted that., but the problem does not go away. I am still working on it but why do I have to go through this $$%&*(^$&$#+ every bloody time we have an update. I really do hope that I am the only one going through this garbage. Tony Tony Chilcott. Tony No problems here Tony--but I don't do 'mods' and still have a fabulous time. June 25, 20214 yr I was getting smooth flights but since the latest World Update I am once again getting 'freezes' at major airports. For example, departing Heathrow at approximately 9000ft the sim freezes for about ten seconds. When the plane is released it jumps, often disengaging the auto throttle which goes into ToGo mode. There is a lot of hard disk activity at the time. It feels that the sim is running but the graphics have frozen and when things start again the plane jumps to the altitude it should have reached! I have an RTX 370 and I9 processor.
June 25, 20214 yr Opening MSFS this morning & what appeared to be the Nordic/World Update that I installed a week ago?, is being pushed out again. Anyone else had this? T45

Anyone else had this? T45 It appears to be just a small ammendment update to the previously released Nordic/World Update from last week. June 27, 20214 yr I've been with FS 2020 since it was released. I had a computer built for this software. Initially, lots of bugs. Then, about the 3rd update, things really improved. I could go to the DFW area, as well as almost any other airport. Now, after 2 more updates, anytime I get close to DFW, the program will either lock up - requiring a hard boot - or the program will crash and I revert back to the desktop. I have to be careful where I fly if I don't want to spend all my time restarting the program. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Les Carruth, Hi Les and welcome to Avsim The DFW region has been problematic some months back but the situation is back to normal. SOP is to check whether you have any addons (payware or freeware) related to the region, the airport itself or generic airport enhancements. June 25, 20232 yr Just updated FS2020 to 1.33.8.0 (Mandatory). Now I have this 2" X 2-1/2" rectangle sitting at the bottom right corner of my monitor above 2 icons. One icon appears to be a microphone. The other an arrow in a circle formation (like a recycling symbol). I have no idea where they came from but they only appear when FS2020 is running. I did not make any configuration changes that I am aware of, just the update. Has anyone else seen this?
