Zinertek vs REX Textures

This is from the Rex website. If the Zinertek textures really does not use mipmap textures, then it will definitely affect performance especially in larger airports.

From my usage so far of the Rex textures, I see no performance difference from default.

Nice comparison. I am using Rex, VERY successfully and Rex has been very responsive in answering any questions.

Not sure where this comparison is coming from, but I see no performance penalty with the Zinertek textures. Choosing between the two, IMHO, comes down to a matter of taste.

Looking at the description for both Zinertek & Rex I see they don't alter/improve any of the Dirt & Grass Runways, is this correct? I see Rex alter the surrounding dirt/sand/grassy areas but not the runways (only tarmac).

I take it this is a No then, think I'll pass on either of them as I land on grass/dirt runways all the time.
