NZA Simulations - NZNS Nelson & NZMK Motueka

I just dont fly these areas as I posted on YT -  if they made US airports I would be all in - thanks for sharing - these guys are the very best of airport creation imo and presentation of products on YT is stunning

So much talent in this world is just crazy - wish I was 30 years younger 🙂

Does anyone (except the makers) really ever enter airport buildings? I confess, I never do and I don't even know how to do it.

It probably can be done using the drone, however my usual workflow is to position my little Cessna at a ramp, start the engines, taxi to a runway and take off. No room for a drone, and it's probably not suggested to set one free at a RL airport either.

In P3D there were avatars, not sure those relocated to MSFS?

This said, looking into the terminal even from the outside at NZNS is impressive.

Kind regards, Michael

I like to stroll around in airport buildings, to relax between flights. Just like I like to walk around the ramp and for my preflight inspection. I press the INS key and then walk around using the xbox 360 controller, it is perfect for this. all this in VR for the best immersion, of course. as opposed to "off course", and some ramps are coarse 😀

very nice.

Have to wonder about the performance impact of all that beautiful internal detail and maybe wishing for an on/off switch for it.

Not sure it is necessary.

I have not purchased this one yet, but never had an issue with their other products. If there is a performance hit, it never stands out enough when taxiing and flying to notice on my middle tier system. Minimum spec machines may be different no idea.

No idea if there is any FPS hit in drone mode inside the buildings but seriously does that even matter, it is not like you are ever going to be flying a helicopter inside the terminal ?

I guess it opens up the possibility of MSFS becoming more of an aviation lifestyle sim down the track.
You drive to the airport, meet up with your co-pilot in the company briefing room, do the paper work etc....

I just purchased NZNS, firstly because I was very impressed with the video, but also because I wanted to discover NZ for long.
And I must say that this scenery is outstanding!!
Kudos to the devs, they really set the bar higher than ever.
So much work and love are involved in this product.

BTW, NZ is gorgeous. 😍
