July 5, 20214 yr While I really like snow is an option in MSFS, there is much left to be desired. I found snow to be better in the beginning; the trailer showed some streets to be clear of snow and more realistic snow coverage in mountainous areas. Currently, streets appear to get covered with snow first, making it impossible to discern them at snow coverage from a few cm and up. Mountain tops get this ugly, semi-transparent non-textured layer of snow on top that looks just bad in my view. I hope that they can fix this and - show more variation in street snow coverage (eg city streets and highways clear, countryside smaller streets covered; - snow accumulation and drifting snow - vehicles, aircraft and fauna leaving tracks in show - snow reflection of sunlight - more realistic snowflakes
July 5, 20214 yr nah, thats not going to happen, animal tracks , jeesss IT IS A FLIGHTSIM valid points are 1 . 4. 5.
July 5, 20214 yr I like and support your ideas. 4 minutes ago, wim123 said: nah, thats not going to happen, animal tracks , jeesss IT IS A FLIGHTSIM Jorg wants to simulate tides and migrating birds so I don't think anything is off limits. Whether you like it or not, whilst the focus is still very much on flightsimming, to some extent this is also a proof of concept for Microsoft in creating a world simulator that may be used for other projects so nothing is off the table when it comes to details even like animal tracks. We can't stay in FSX and X-Plane 11 land forever. Technological improvements facilitate such details and not everyone using MSFS is only interested in the planes; many are also interested in the landscape and exploration side of things. I say bring it on - to all types of global details that make the world come alive.
July 5, 20214 yr As I read TS I hope we get a next update with a lot of major bugs. Because boredom does strange things to peoples whish module. Tire and animal tracks????? I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

July 5, 20214 yr Seems like some people forget that all these "I hopes" eat their framerate, I mean it seems that one would want to be able to have a "flyable" frame rate. in the near future, upgrading your machine or it's components will be exponentially greater. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

There's a number of folk on these forums who scoff when they see the interiors of airports modelled or basically anything other than aircraft physics or systems modelled. Let's just say some are less tolerant and open to those that enjoy the scenery side of things. I have often seen remarks such as 'it's not a walking simulator, it's a flight simulator' each time some poor fellow suggests that it'd be nice to see more animals or animated people in the scenery. And I still think animal tracks as the OP suggested would one day be cool. Sure it's not likely to happen in this edition of MSFS and personally there are many other things I'd like to see implemented first, but one day such a realistic world to explore in MSFS would be awesome. So, I support anyone who has imagination in all the ways the world and nature can be recreated in the sim, no matter how specific 😉
July 5, 20214 yr I think the best option is to focus on the more pressing concerns, like performance and bugs, then go down the wishlist. This would be really cool, but IIRC the same people that work on tire treads and show and stuff also work on autogen.
