July 9, 20214 yr I find the new Ford F150 Lightning to be pretty incredible. https://www.ford.com/trucks/f150/f150-lightning/2022/ They did a promotional stunt where they pulled a million pounds with it but what amazes me is that it comes with an option that can power your house for 3 days based on 30kWh per day use during a power failure. It also comes with built in inverter generator that provides 9.6 kW of power. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
July 9, 20214 yr Author Amazing! One million pounds! Can't be right. Sounds like marketing shenanigans. 😁 I like the inclusion of an invertor and being able to charge your house. We are on the cusp of some great innovations. I like the feature in the Rimac where you can vary the torque balance front or back, as you see fit. But mind you, who the hell needs 0 to 60 in under two seconds. 😲 Edited July 9, 20214 yr by martin-w
July 12, 20214 yr I'd rather buy a Cessna 172 and save 2 million dollars. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

That one looks as though it might 'just' fit into a car parking space! But 200mph, it'll cut your morning commute down a tad. (Do you still have morning commutes?) July 13, 20214 yr A car named Fridge? I mean, in a popular car blog here in Argentina, the readers joke about all electric cars, because they end up looking like any other electrical appliance (dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, etc.). Now Rimac appears and names its latest creation with the Spanish word for fridge. Not even 2000 hp will make me stop laughing, sorry 😂 Although I would be delighted doing a road trip at these locations, Nevera or not. Hence the Rimac is cool! Its science, you can't argue with science. 😺 (The cat was simply because I like cats) Cats are cool too. 🧊
