I clicked and instantly exited the video..no thanks🤣

he could be flying  a BROOM for all i care , it shows the difference from before and now . the few minutes i watched he took off LAX with a significant amount of people online at 4k full sliders and it looked solid . people take a few minutes of fun like its the end of the world .

Nobody is getting bent out of shape over it, tuning in to seeing the guy doing a loop in a 747 was quite funny an didn’t really answer any of our questions, haven’t seen what you seen at the beginning but it’s all good.

I’ll take 15%… let us know how you get on.

every time I download an MSFS update it takes an eternity, it uses an average of 3-5mbit/s of my bandwidth out of 80mbit/s available. I wish I knew why.

Simming since FS 98. MSFS rig - Ryzen 3600 4.2Ghz - 32GB RAM 3600Mhz - Motherboard MSI 570 A Pro - RTX 2080 Ti -all overclocked - 2xNVME storage. PSU Corsair HX850i platinum. Average 30Fps on 4K ultra.

First test in my normal 'test flight' area in the updated FBW 320....wow...I usually get about 25 fps and was sitting nearly pegged at 60fps.  Same settings being used as prior version. Much smoother but definitely some pop-in of trees/buildings as you turn your head left or right..  I can live with that I think if I can continue with this type of performance increase.  I may be able to vsync at 60 which I've never been able to do.....so far very impressed in my first 15 minutes of flying.

Sounds good, what are your settings? How far can you push it to peg it at a steady 30fps?

140% gain......wow! That would give me 192 fps in my spitfire!

My setting are mostly in Medium range.  80% render scale, Terrain LOD 180 and Object LOD 130. Photogrammetry Off, AI traffic Off.

Yeah...good luck😄  I need to check out the 152 since that was the only aircraft I could get close to 60 fps in the prior version...

You don't notice it in front of you but if you turn your head quickly to the left or right you will see everything load.  If you pan slowly it is a bit more tolerable. Could be a big issue for the TrackIR and VR users....

True. I am using TrackIR. The secret of the better performance ? removing whats not in the view angle ?

Exactly this. Xbox users don’t have track IR or VR.
