July 28, 20214 yr I've only tested the C172 G1000, still don't know if it happens on other aircrafts too. Basically one click of trim up or down on my Joystick causes the airplane to rocket climb or dive: it's uttely annoying. Never happened something like that before.
July 28, 20214 yr same here, drives me nuts and there doesn't appear a way to remedy it. Its like it ramps it up or down 3 to five clicks. You have to get as close as you can and then play with throttle to try and find a neutral spot. I guess I could use the slider on my warthog throttle but it's settings provided are 0 - 100 % and -100% to +100% , and I'd rather not. July 28, 20214 yr Yup, I can confirm that it is now super sensitive. Jeff D. Nielsen (KMCI) https://www.twitch.tv/pilotskcx https://discord.io/MaxDutyDay VENGEANCE a8200 Gaming PC: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, GeForce RTX 5080, 64GB DDR5, 4TB (2TB/2TB) M.2 SSD, Win11 Pro
July 28, 20214 yr Author Don't know if there's a workaround, but basically for me it's impossible to fly like this.
July 28, 20214 yr Before, when you held down whatever switch you have set for trim, the trim would move one notch and after a brief pause the trim wheel would move continuously as long as you held the switch. Now, it starts to move continuously as soon as you hit the switch. I would think that electric trim in a real airplane would behave like this so it is probably more realistic. I wonder if there is a way to slow the rate, though, because I agree it makes the trim more sensitive.
July 28, 20214 yr Yeah, there are some issues with the trim. Inverted axes also on some planes.
