July 29, 20214 yr Hi guys. Have just switched from the Stable version to the development version of the FBW A320. My issue is that my Honeycomb Bravo Throttles don't react as expected on the dev version. When they are at idle reverse turns on for example. 50% on the throttle is about idle in the sim so when i pull back too much on the throttle, the reverses engage. Is there a trick to getting these right? it was working fine in the stable version MSFS 2024

August 10, 20214 yr I would be grateful if you would share your "secret sauce" for the Bravo and FBY Development model. First problem is when I have the Bravo throttles back in the idle position, they show in the sim as in full reverse. In MSFS Control Panel have Axis 1 and 2 mapped, but must be missing something prior to final calibration in the EFB. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I've watched the FBY video, but must be overlooking something. Found this thread via an internet search looking for an answer. -Brian
August 10, 20214 yr yes, i'd also like to know how you fixed it. August 16, 20214 yr captain420 - brianben here. I found the breadcrumbs and got my Bravo throttles working with the Development model. Just complete all the steps, and then test it as the instructions state. My Throttle 1 Reverse combo key assignment didn't work at first (it said it was validated, but didn't move into reverse position at first, but I went back into MSFS and set up that key combination again and it took the second time). Here is the link (below) to the FBW directions, scroll down to the Bravo directions for step by step. You will need to scroll back up to the top a couple of time to the directions they provide for setting up the first throttle example they provide, but head back down to the Bravo directions and just keep setting it up! Due to the time it is here (and the time I need to wake up) I am not able to test fly it tonight; however, all the Bravo throttles now work perfectly sitting on the cargo ramp with the batteries providing power to the flyPad. If you hit any snags, please let me know and I'll help all I can; providing very step-by-step instructions if desired. Thankful to have figured it out. -Brian Throttle Calibration - FlyByWire Simulations Guides
August 25, 20214 yr I'm having the same problem no matter what i try the throttles go to full reverse Pete Little
March 16, 20224 yr This does not work and the problem is this: FBW have made the thrust levers go ALL the way back to full reverse when the Honeycomb Quadrant has only reached idle, NOT even reverse idle. There is still another inch or so reverse detent to go. Now I recognise that MSFS does not have proper reverse axis functions, but there should be a way around this. One would be to designate a button or lever that triggers reverse. You can even trigger reverse then push the levers forward to have access to GRADUATED reverse thrust. This is very easily possible on for example the Kingair, TBM and the CJ4. But because FBW insists on making the A320 thrust levers go ALL the way back to full reverse when the actual Honeycomb levers are not anywhere near that point, whatever you set in its own calibration app in the fly pad, you cannot designate zero thrust in your Honeycomb quadrant as anywhere other than way forward of the actual idle detent. This also has the unfortunate effect of making the available distance between idle and climb thrust ridiculously small. It's a shame as in all other respects the FBW team have got so many things dead right. @cooperwarner8 - if you really did find a fix it would be helpful to post exactly how you did it. After all you posted originally requesting help from others. So now you've apparently found the solution it would be great if you could pass it on to others now. Thank you.
