Anybody replying to this thread… have you been able to complete the update?

I opened a support request to Asobo Studios for support and it has been a week and it has gone crickets!

Thanks!

Sure, no issue. All worked fine.

I updated my Windows 10, and it didn’t help. My update indicates 6GB and when I click Update, it jumps to 16 GB on the progress bar. Installs 1/54 and then installs this update in an endless loop!

I wonder if an un-install and reinstall, which will probably take a full day to reinstall would be the only way to solve the issue.  A SOL bo Studios  tech support is non existent.

Hopefully someone will have a solution.

Have you tried this?

A loop issue during in-sim downloads can be fixed by force quitting the MSFS installer. The download will resume where left off after relaunching the sim.

In the Windows search bar, type “Delivery Optimisation”.
Select “Delivery Optimisation advanced settings”.
Set both Percentage of measured bandwidth limiters to 100%.
In the Windows search bar, type “Command Prompt”.
In the menu select “Run as administrator”.
Type: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
Press Enter, you should receive an “OK.” message.
Reboot your computer for this change to take effect.

Of no help to you, I did the download and it took about 1 minute. The package is quite small. If you have something big coming through there is another problem somewhere, I suspect with your set up. Or there is a corrupted file within MSFS. Apologies for being of no help.

Peter, I had the same problem. The store did not show the update.  So I was stuck with the sim telling me I had to update and the store telling me I already was updated to the last version.  I found the solution on the flightsimulator.com forum.  I had to install the xbox app (did google it to find the app) open the xbox app and then went to the store and there was the update.  How on earth do we need now an xbox app to get msfs updating ?????.  That beets me.

One step ahead.  Just did that, and now it says I have 124.88 GB to download..  333 steps.

I’ll read the article included in the thread.

I’ll let you know probably tomorrow at this point!

it has been a couple of weeks since I launched MSFS 2020..

Could it be FSUIPC in the Community folder? I am using the MSFs2020 version…
