Can somebody tell me (or show an image example) what these 2 settings actually do?

I am not sure but since SU5 it is the only parameter i set to 0 to have my realistic colors back.

Fringe is responsible for the ridiculous red/green mess that shows up in the Hangar view and the background of the menu screens when you're not in a flight.  Set it to 0 to get rid of that.  Can't see any difference with it on or off in the sim though I messed with it a bit at SU5 launch to try and see if it was affecting the green/magenta tinging in the clouds.

I wish I could get this parameter to work for me. For both EyeAdaption and ColorGrading, changing the value from 1 to 0 makes absolutely no difference in the simulator.

Glad it works for some.

I have been experimenting with Colorgrading, and I am certainly finding it difficult to see any difference (especially now, with the latest environmental lighting changes).

It isn't easy to experiment due to having to quit the sim and reload after every config file change.  As some have said, more sliders in game would be good so we can see these effects instantly.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Perhaps a placebo effect… or do i see a change because i play in HDR ?

Thank you very much

Later: I had a quick look and it indeed looks as if the good old colors are back again.
