One season was rejected because the Dev team couldn't change the season via Weather Panel.  Just unbelieve to hear something like this from the testing team, even though they had clear instructions how it works and it's not connected via weather panel.  I had to remind him again how it works. It's called Spring North/Fall South for a reason... and he is flying in north and trying to change the season in weather panel. 

 

What is sad is Asobo breaks things during an update, and won't even help the people that bought on the market Place, with updates to fix what they broke.

You don't NEED to buy this. The 4 season pack already has fall for the whole world (along with other seasons). This just enhances the fall by manually placed trees over 25000 sq miles in UK.

Enhanced fall season is created due to variation of colors. There won't be any for other seasons.

But I thought part of the original product I purchased was all the extra trees you were adding to specific areas. the product pages states:

The whole product is based around the extra trees, variation of trees and colours in the world which you update. I would have thought the UK would have been part of that update process.

Don't get me wrong, your product is fantastic. But in asking the question about one product going forward, I would have expected not to have to spend more money to get an updated UK a few months later that adds the exact type of content I thought I had already purchased.

 I have already delivered what you have purchased plus 100's of free updates weekly and that will not stop. I am still doing free updates. Last one was just yesterday.

Like I mentioned, this is an additional product that requires tons of manual extra work, manually placing trees in EVERY city and airport in UK.

Can I just confirm that this is now the only product that will be updated and we won't have a whole load of other products with various upgrade prices ect?

If you had said no, there will be future updates that will become paid DLC for specific regions and seasons on top of this product - then fair enough. That's your choice to sell what you like and up to me to purchase because of that information.

You are completely misquoting me. Not sure if you're doing it on purpose or not. 

I never said UK will never get updates again. The whole world still get free updates or fixing any issues that may arise. Please read again, I said free updates are still happening.

You asked IF there will be another seasons for UK (as a new product) I said no, still talking about UK product (not 4 season pack).

I am not splitting products and please don't assume things and don't quote me something I never mentioned.

For 3rd time, this UK is a new product that requires 4 season pack to run.

One of the things I really like about MSFS is the fact that you really do not need to buy dozens of expensive scenery/weather/tree/landscape/mesh/etc addons to have a half-decent looking sim. I was just getting tempted by the 4 seasons pack, but this interaction has once again reminded me that I'm very happy with the default scenery and only really need to buy aircraft I like. With P3D I ended up with dozens of such addons over the years and it became a massive pain to manage them all - updates, downloads, license keys (and weird programs to do the licensing). I do not miss that.

 

I'm not criticizing the developer, he has a right to sell things however he likes and make money for his work, but it's nice to see that you followed up and showed how a one-time purchase can become a neverending stream of additional DLC. Again, let me be very clear, I'm certainly not saying that Bijan did anything wrong - he's a small developer (I assume) and plans change over the months. Good on him for making what looks like a decent product - but thank you MSFS from freeing us of the necessity to buy things like this. It's now extremely optional 🙂

Ideally, instead of MSFS working internally on there own seasons update, they should just employ Bijan and give him total freedom to work his magic in the sim so we can all benefit from his amazing work - while he gets paid for his skills. Seasons and correct fauna is a massive part of the realism, especially for low and slow flying. The sim is obviously capable of being more accurate and specific than what it currently is, as evidenced by the products Bijan is able to produce. So why not invest in that like they do the weather and satellite imagery? Just get him onboard and let everybody experience his work without the need for differing products, DLCs and various costs.
