Will this be compatible with the beta at some point, or do we have to wait for update 4 to come out of beta? I want to install SU4 but I'd miss this app too much now.

I have taken AB's presets as a starting point and agree they are very good. Much more atmospheric and natural compared to default. Found no issues with time of day or different conditions so far. The UI could be improved. For me it wasnt intuitive to load up a preset initially. Can't wait to see what other presets come out over time.

Has anyone got any issues with the A2A Comanche since the update? It starts off okay, then every input on the controller stops working, except the left stick (on an Xbox controller). After a couple of minutes it starts working again, before repeating the same cycle a few minutes later.

My first time on a beta (ms store version) what's the best procedure to drop out of the beta and be on update 3?

Apart from the first week, I love 2024 and wouldn't dream of going back to 2020

After another day where most things have been working properly (apart from plane sounds on my second flight), I am more and more impressed with 2024. The colours, lighting atmosphere are just fantastic to my eye. Being able to land a bush plane somewhere and walk about, enjoying amazing, beautiful vistas and then fly off as a weather system rolls off nearby hills - it's just incredible.

Will this increase the distance the ships spawn in? I've noticed they are only spawning in very close to the plane in 2024 and not like they were in 2020. Could just be current server issues though.

One thing I noticed was blurry ground textures. In the settings I had dynamic settings turned onto 60fps. Once I turned that off I had lovely crisp textures.

I've seen enough in the times where most things have worked to think that this is going to be a great sim. Might just take a while and at the mercy of highly inconsistent servers at the moment.

One thing I've noticed today is how close you have to be to a ship to see them spawn into view. It's like they are tied to the object slider. Could see them from miles away on 2020. Is there a setting I need to change to get them showing up at greater distances, or is currently a server issue?

Has there been any update in last couple of hours? All my planes have sounds for the first time. The only thing I did different between not having them and having them was I played around with graphic settings changing a load from high to ultra, including texture resolution and then restarted sim. Now I have sound again.

Also suffering from no engine sounds from any plane. Anyway to fix it?

After finally getting it running consistently, I now think it's fantastic.

Is this mod now incorporated into the sim by default?

UK here which is still having bad server problems. After 3 days of only loading into a flight once, I have found a more consistent way of being able to actually fly. Instead of trying to start at an airport or runway, if I just choose to start a flight airborne, I can quite consistently actually fly. Not ideal, but I'll take it over the game constantly hanging on the world map!

Does the frame generation mod work yet? That made a big difference in 2020. Haven't been able to load into flights enough yet to fully test default performance.

Managed to load into a flight this morning for the first time without crashes or massively degraded textures. Didn't see too much difference between 20 and 24. However, even though I loaded in, I still won't properly judge what I'm seeing until all the bandwidth issues are sorted out.

I agree, 'our' would certainly be a better choice of word right now, when this is so obviously an issue they are having. They should certainly make it clearer on whether it's a user or client issue when there are issues like this.

Installed earlier today and did not encounter any problems installing or creating character, thought I had got lucky..... BUT...I can't even load into a flight, either crashes and hangs on the map, or crashes to desktop when loading into a flight. Been trying on and off for hours.

Will this be available on any other storefronts like ORBX or Just Flight? I try to keep my purchases to as few as possible storefronts. I will certainly buy this, but done mind waiting a few days if it will be available on one of my regular ones. All of the A2A products I own for P3D are all purchased from Just Flight.

Thank you to all those involved in this mod, amazing work. One question: How do the routes work in terms of ship placement and sim date used? As an example: If I see a ship leave Southampton port this afternoon (setting the date and time to live, so September the 6th) heading for say Rio, will it be continuing to make the journey if I load up the sim tomorrow? So be a bit further from Southampton and a bit closer to Rio because of the change of sim date even though I haven't had the sim on? If that makes sense.
