Doesn't seem to matter if I use medium/high/ultra water reflections.

Is it only in one place or everywhere? That looked like it was in a constant physical location as you flew closer, is there an add-on airport close by? First thought was a terrain flatten anomaly??

I also did experience that - but very seldom and at different locations. I had no chance to reproduce it constantly. So hard to track down.

I too see them at certain locations. I see them near Aerosoft PANC and, if I remember correctly, Orbx PAVD. I have a feeling it's related to reflections.

Version: P3Dv5.4, P3Dv6  CPU: Core i7-13700K @ 5.5 GHz with HT on,  GPU: RTX 3080 12GB,  RAM: 32GB DDR-5MONITOR: 32" 4K with G-Sync enabled, OS: Win10 22H2, Target Frame Rate: P3D 120, NCP Max Frame Rate 35.

I think it is a height difference there causing a shadow. You can remove it adding a big flatten there or disable shadows from terrain.

I had the same problem. As blaunarwal points out, it is a shadow issue..

Yes agree with Blunarwhal - had it now and then not everywhere but always where the land meets the water, until I disable terrain shadowing then it dissappeared. I do not notice the lack of terrain shadowing anyway.
